5 Favorites to Watch

Here are my 5 favorite workers to watch, that are still in the business.

5. Tajiri - pretty much gets crapped on by the WWE, but is one of the best workers they have. If the WWE ever got their head out their *ss and gave the guy a chance to shine, he'd work circles around all the lumbering giants they have.

4. AJ Styles - It's probably a good thing he didn't take the WWE contract cause he'd be getting the shaft since he's not 6'5", 250lbs, slow and injury prone.

3. RVD - see Tajiri

2. Kurt Angle - This guy was amazing after just a year or two in the business and now he's one of the best. Before its over, he may become the best. Sorry Brett Hart fans, but Angle can work, is funny and has tons of charisma.

1. Ric Flair - The man, nothing more really needs to be said. Even at this age he can still put on a better match than HHH and 80% of the WWE roster. How may guys through the history of the business could work a good 60 minute match, cut a killer promo, be funny, be serious, be a heel, be a face and carry a mid-carder to a 5 star match? Not Hogan, not Hart, not Steamboat, not Race, not Nash, not Piper, not Sting, not Luger, not Taker, not Foley and sure as hell not HHH. Only Flair, Angle, the Rock and maybe Austin, HBK and Savage.

Ok,you had me on 4 out of 5 picks but for the life of me I cannot understand your love for RVD. I mean he's good but isn't every match basically the same match with just a different opponent?
RVD has oddles of charisma but even in his home turf of ECW I never thought much of him. I give the credit more to Storm & Lynn for his great ECW matches. There's a reason RVD was never booked against Shane Douglas.
Do you think RVD would be as revered as he is now if ECW could have kept Malenko, Mysterio, Guerrero. Major league workers like that would keep RVD out of the ECW spotlight to a degree.
So now that we eliminated RVD. Who can we put to replace him? Is this an american workers only list? If not you gotta look at the great Japanese guys like Misawa,Takada & Kobashi. They still put on good matches despite being up there in age. If we stick to Americans then I'm going to pick Jeff Jarrett. Why? Because even though he's only so-so on the mike & in the ring I figure picking him will irritate Donnie as much as him picking RVD irritates me....lol
