For the second straight year Yao edges Shaq in votes to start
the NBA All Star Game. Now I will be the first to admit that
Yao is not a more dominating player than Shaq and that Shaq
does deserve to start based on playing ability. But Shaq
is got beat not because of his playing ability, but his poor attitude.
Yes, Shaq does have a lot of fans, but he also has a lot
haters, mostly due to his poor attitude. For example, when he was asked
about Yao getting more votes, he commented that Yao has a
trillion people where he’s from and that’s why he won. When
in fact, Shaq got more electronic votes from around world and
Yao got more write in votes from the U.S. and Canada. Don’t
believe me?

Now I can forgive Shaq for saying that when the announcement
was first made, cause maybe he didn’t know. But this
weekend during the rookie game, where Yao was playing also,
they asked Shaq about it again and he made the same comment.
He at least got the amount of people in China right this
time, saying a billion instead of a trillion. Shaq just came
off
of suspension for using profanity and insulting the NBA refs
after a recent game. He has not gotten along well with teammate
Kobe Bryant and has had made other borderline racial comments
regarding Yao. With Yao getting better seemingly with every
game and having beaten Shaq 3 out of their 4 meetings, including
out playing Shaq in their last game, Shaq may have seen his
last Start in an All Star Game til he grows up.
I did not watch it, probably will not watch it. Don’t
care to watch it. From what I understand here is the
line up of the so called PPV:
Nidia vs Noble – kidding
right?
Bashams vs 2 Cool – UGH
APA vs Hass/Benjamin – OK,
if Hass and Benjamin go over like they should
Chavo vs Rey – should
be decent or good
Rhyno vs Holly – LMAO
Angle/Show/Cena – not
bad, might be OK
Eddie/ Brock – OK
I’m sorry but I would be hard pressed to watch
this for free on Smackdown, much less pay $30 bucks
for it. This
as
dumb as NWA TNA charging $10 for their crap.
