Show Starts with Flair and HBK “appreciating” each
other and then agreeing to a match. HHH comes down to see if
Flair is still with him, but he isn’t. Bitchoff comes
out, makes Flair/HBK for Bad Blood and HHH vs. both of them
tonite. This was a good segment up until Bitchoff came out,
even HHH was doing good with his angry at Flair bit. HBK and
Flair were excellent, shedding tears for each other. This is
live TV, there is no retake, they had only one chance to make
those tears well up like that. Bitchoff making the handicap
match makes no sense. I smell swerve……………….
Booker T vs Test – Pretty poor match. Shows that Booker
T is a lower main eventer or high mid-carder, take your pick.
Like Brock, Booker has a hard time carrying a match against
lesser talent. It’s pretty slow and for a second I though
I was watching Monday Nite Nitro. Booker wins after Test abuses
Stacy. Lawler makes a hilarious comment “Booker T’s
high school was so tuff, their school newspaper had obituaries”,
LOL
HHH backstage tries to plea to Austin about his match. Austin
has a black eye, where did that come from??? Someone find out,
quick. Austin seemed very strange acting as well.
Val Venis vs Steven Richards – LOL at this match. One
guy can work but has little personality and gimmick, the other
guy has a personality and gimmick but can’t work. And
neither guy can get over. Venis like the old “Godfather” gimmick,
gets over during his entrance but once the match starts, ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.
It’s like a silent movie, it’s so quite. Who wins,
who cares?
OMG, speaking of getting put to sleep, and interview with Kevin
Nash. WORSE INTERVIEW EVER. Nash has no emotion, what so ever.
Just like his wrestling there seems to be no effort. Terrible.
Christian promo, he rips the crowd before Golddust interrupts.
Average, nothing real funny. Golddust should stop with the
stuttering, it does nothing for him.
La Resistance interrupts Lillian’s singing, but get Stunned
for their trouble. Lillian and Austin share beers.
Flair is shown getting ready with a mask guy peeping at him.
Who could it be? From the dress and shape looks like it could
be Batista or Orton.
Golddust beats Christian in a short little match. Its nice
to see the WWE give the title to a smaller guy like Christian,
even if it is just so Booker can win it in front of his hometown
at Bad Blood. Christian loses here, just like he’ll do
at the PPV.
White Boy Challenge – Bubba faces Mack, Nowinski helps
Mack win. Short match.
Bitchoff makes a flag match between RVD and Grenier.
Flag Match – Odd match, was not RVD at his best. Constant
interruption with Dupree and Kane. Ends with the French guys
screw jobbing the faces
Y2J’s Hi-Lite Reel. He rips Goldberg. Berg comes down
chases him out of ring. Accepts match for the PPV. The Y2J
sprays him with mace.
HHH vs HBK/Flair – SWERVE!!! Flair and HHH beats down
HBK. Nash walks down to make the save but the mask guy comes
down too. They use the chair on Nash and lay him out. Surprise,
the mask guy is Orton!!! OK, why did Orton need to wear a mask????
OVERALL, this pretty much sucked. There wasn’t a good
match all nite. But plenty of bad ones, some awful promo’s
too. Really poor booking of the matches and writing of storylines
as well.
