THE HULK
The Hulk opens this week, can’t wait to see it. I think
the previews look pretty good and the Hulk himself looks great
in most of the scenes. Also, opening this week is the American
Idol movie. The preview makes me feel like someone just pissed
in my eyes!! Someone in Hollywood should burn in hell for this
movie.
Bad Blood
OK, I missed about half of the PPV. I had forgot it was going
to be on until 45 min. before it started and I still forgot
to watch it when it did start. I guess watching really bad
shows every week is taking its toll on me. But here’s
what I did see:
Christian beats Booker T – why did Christian go over
in Booker’s hometown? Why that horrible DQ finish? The
ref forces Christian from taking the count out, but he can’t
take the belt for a DQ? A count-out loss, although bad, wouldn’t
have been as bad as what actually happened. Not a good start,
why did I turn the channel to this? The match itself was just
OK, but then the finish sucked.
Tag Title Match – Bad move putting the frenchies over.
At least Team Angle jobbed a few times before winning the straps.
Frenchies haven’t jobbed as a team yet. At least this
means we could see RVD and Kane go somewhere with a singles
career now. Not a good match either.
Goldberg beat Y2J – Not a bad match, but not great. They
do a solid job. Some of the fans are booing Goldberg, but he
hasn’t been put in a good position to win their support
by the WWE.
Flair/HBK – missed it, sorry
Redneck Triatholon – The only segment I caught was the
second one with Mae Young. Not bad, pretty funny. Bitchoff
seems to be getting it handed to him by Vince and I love it.
Do you think Vince is enjoying this? Do you think Bitchoff
has any pride left? Is he just happy to be working? Pay back
is a mother!
Nash/HHH – I missed most of it, except the end. Not bad
or good from what I saw. Looked OK.
CONCULSION – From what I saw, it was not worth paying
for. I doubt anything that I missed could have made it worth
it.
RAW
Again, I missed half of RAW. Sorry, but I can only bend over
and take it for so long, without taking a break.
Test slams Mae Young - The whole carrying someone away in a
stretcher or gurney thing is waaaaaaaaay over used these days.
Back in the day it only happened once every year or two, so
it had a little effect to it. But these days it happens every
couple months and have no effect.
Rico beats Spike - OK first, Rico will go nowhere with this
gimmick. He looks like an amateur compared to Adrian Street.
Rico just doesn’t have the look or style to be successful
in the WWE right now. He’s not very marketable. I think
he would have been more successful back in the 80’s.
He reminds me of Superstar Bill Dundee. Spike has become “glorified
jobber” or “job squad”, whatever you want
to call it, joining Al Snow, Demott, Richards, Spanky, Funaki,
etc. Jackie is looking good though, just don’t let her
wrestle.
Orton vs Maven – This way tooooooooo long. Rest spot
with a headlock that took like 2 minutes, was someone tired?
Maven is as GREEN as the Hulk. Orton will be “bulking”**wink,
wink** up in the next few years, just watch and he needs another
finisher.
Tag Title Match – Frencies, speaking of green, win by
DQ. Kane went nuts and HHH wants him Evo. HHHMMMM, which side
to take Austin’s or HHH’s. Well it looks like Kane
will be unmasked next week, cause he’s not winning the
belt from HHH. Word is that Mark Jindrak is next member of
Evo. What about Batista? How long is he out, years?
Conclusion – Well, I missed half of it so I won’t
be so hard. I’ll just say what I saw wasn’t that
good.
