BATTLE ROYALE
No, it has nothing to do with wrestling. It’s a Japanese
movie I ordered on DVD. It supposed to be a sick action flick.
Tons of blood and carnage. Basically, its about a class of
9th grade students put on an island and forced to kill one
another till there is only one survivor. I won’t get
into the details till I see the movie and review it.

Austin comes out, NO Bitchoff tonight, YEAH!
Booker T beats Christian – Look, if you didn’t
give the strap to Booker in his home town, then you should
just let Christian hold on to it for a while. This is like
the 4th, 5th?? match between the two in a short time period
and it has gotten a little stale. It makes no sense to let
Booker win it now when he didn’t win it a few weeks ago.
Rosey beats Hurricane – WHAT??? WHY??? Then he turns
face on Long and Mack afterwards??? WTH??? Hurricane demoted
to jobber?? Sad……
Gail Kim/Val beat Victoria/Richards – Dammit, this is
ridiculous!!! Victoria is the biggest, best female athlete
right now in the WWE. She is also the only one carrying a gimmick
and she looks good too. Why is she jobbing to a Kim? Kim still
has not impressed me. Victoria gorilla presses Kim, Jazz can’t
even do that. Richard and Venis are a waste. Neither of them
can get over. Here they are playing second fiddle to women.
A rookie female at that.
Hi Lite Reel – this was very done, it was excellently
thought out. They very accurately predicted the bias of the
Canadian fans and played them like a fiddle. HBK and Y2J flip/flopped
the heel and face twice in one segment and got the fans doing
exactly what they wanted. Quality work here, that has been
sorely missed for some time.
Test beats Nash - At least there was a half ass segment
to lead into it and the finish was a little surprising.
Nash didn’t
do the clean job, but jobbed none the less.
Y2J beat Jindrak – Jindrak looks really different,
and its for the worse. He look likes one of hundred faceless,
big
workers. I guess they wanted him to get away from his WCW
days, but this is not for the better.
Molly beat Trish – um, OK match, not much else to say.
Bubba/RVD beat Flair/Orton – Bubba bastardizes the bionic
elbow, Flair has got to be LHAO to have to take that from Bubba.
LOL, Flair goes to the top and Lawler says “don’t
do it, I’ve never seen it work” LMAO!!
Kane beats up Austin – I’m not sure where they’re
going with Kane, but it was nice that he didn’t get
squashed by Austin, with the stunner and all.
Overall, the matches were weak but the stories and segments
were stronger than usual and made for a surprisingly entertaining
show. Who beat up Tommy and Rico, kane/Austin, Y2J/HBK, all
were pretty good. Better show, especially with no Bitchoff..
